High-Speed Annular Cladding Nozzle / COX1
The COX1 annular powder-feeding cladding nozzle features a precision-engineered structure, optimized through multi-dimensional simulation and validated via real-world production testing. It offers excellent powder convergence and extremely high powder utilization, resulting in outstanding cladding performance.
Specifically developed for high-speed laser cladding, the nozzle delivers a powder spot diameter of approximately 0.6–1.5 mm, a powder focal distance of about 15 mm, and powder utilization exceeding 80%. It is compatible with various powder materials and suitable for a wide range of laser additive manufacturing and remanufacturing applications.
Key Features
High Powder Utilization:
The COX1 nozzle generates a powder spot diameter of around 0.6–1.2 mm with a focal distance of 15 mm, suitable for high-speed laser cladding processes. The powder feed rate ranges from 8–35 g/min, achieving a maximum cladding area of up to 0.8 m² per hour (at 1 mm single pass width), and powder utilization exceeds 80%.
Efficient Water Cooling:
With a detachable base and conical structure, the nozzle is constructed from high-quality copper, incorporating multiple circulating water-cooling channels in the base. This design ensures effective thermal management, allowing for long-term stable operation.
Exceptional Cladding Performance:
The COX1 nozzle delivers precise powder directionality and high utilization efficiency, ensuring a stable molten pool. The cladding tracks are uniform and highly consistent, and the nozzle is compatible with various laser heads and laser sources.
