HALDEN Wear Plate Grade
H-900 Custom Alloy Plate
Custom alloy wear plate for special working conditions where standard grades are not enough. H-900 is used when customers face high temperature, corrosion, strong impact, unusual materials, mixed wear modes or strict project requirements.
| Grade | H-900 Custom Alloy Plate |
| Wear condition | Customized for special wear conditions 特殊工况定制 |
| Typical hardness | Customized as required |
| Common thickness | Customized according to project requirements |
| Main applications | High temperature, corrosion, strong impact and special materials |
Custom alloy wear plate for non-standard wear problems
HALDEN H-900 Custom Alloy Plate is not a single fixed product. It is a project-based grade family for customers who need special alloy design, custom overlay structure, special base plate, special fabrication or performance matching to an existing material.
This grade starts from working-condition analysis. HALDEN reviews the material handled, temperature, impact level, corrosion risk, current failure mode, drawing, installation method and target service life before recommending the alloy structure.

Key benefits
- Designed for special wear conditions outside standard grade selection
- Can address mixed abrasion, impact, heat, corrosion or unusual materials
- Suitable for custom alloy composition and project-based structures
- Useful when customers need a tailored alternative to current failed parts
Typical specifications
| Overlay type | Chromium carbide or custom alloy hardfacing layer |
| Base plate | Q235, Q345, A36 or equivalent weldable steel; special base plate available by project |
| Hardness | Customized as required |
| Plate format | Standard sheet, cut-to-size liner or fabricated wear component |
| Processing | Cutting, bending, rolling, drilling, countersunk holes, stud welding and welding assembly |
Recommended applications
| High-temperature wear For heat plus abrasion conditions requiring custom review. | Corrosive abrasion For wear areas where corrosion and abrasion occur together. |
| Strong impact zones For special impact applications beyond standard liner selection. | Special materials For unusual handled materials or non-standard equipment needs. |
| Competitor replacement For matching or improving existing branded wear plate performance. | Project-based liners For drawings, samples or conditions requiring custom alloy selection. |

When to choose H-900
| Condition | H-900 suitability | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
| Standard ordinary abrasion | Not necessary | Use H-100 General CCO Plate. |
| Severe abrasion only | Possibly unnecessary | Use H-200 unless special alloy is required. |
| Powder or sticky material | Only if standard grade is not enough | Use H-300 first if surface smoothness is the main issue. |
| High temperature or corrosion | Good fit after review | Use H-900 when H-400 is not enough or corrosion is involved. |
| Mixed or unclear failure mode | Good fit | Send drawings, photos and working conditions for custom recommendation. |
