Choose the right HALDEN wear plate grade according to abrasion level, impact, temperature, material flow and special working conditions. This guide helps buyers quickly decide whether to start from H-100, H-200, H-300, H-400, H-500, H-600 or H-900.

Quick selection rules
| Start with H-100 When the wear problem is ordinary sliding abrasion and impact is not severe. | Upgrade to H-200 When ore, aggregate, clinker or slag creates severe abrasive wear. |
| Choose H-300 When powder, slurry or sticky material needs smoother flow and lower buildup risk. | Choose H-400 When abrasive material is hot or the equipment faces high-temperature wear. |
| Choose H-500 When falling material, coarse lumps or loading points create impact plus abrasion. | Choose H-600 When the part is used in steel mill sliding, guiding or side-wear positions. |
