HALDEN Wear Plate Grade
H-500 Impact Resistant Plate
Impact resistant overlay plate for applications where abrasive wear is combined with repeated impact. H-500 is recommended for crusher zones, loading points, bucket liners, hopper impact areas and heavy-duty transfer positions.
| Grade | H-500 Impact Resistant Plate |
| Wear condition | Combined impact and abrasive wear 冲击 + 磨损复合工况 |
| Typical hardness | HRC 55-65 |
| Common thickness | 10+6, 10+8, 12+8, 12+12 and customized |
| Main applications | Crushing, loading, impact zones, heavy-duty liners |
Wear plate for impact plus abrasion conditions
HALDEN H-500 Impact Resistant Plate is designed for working positions where standard high-hardness wear plate may be too brittle or where ordinary CCO plate is exposed to repeated impact. It balances abrasion resistance with stronger backing support and impact-aware structure selection.
This grade is suitable for positions that receive falling material, coarse lumps, repeated loading or mixed impact-abrasion wear. The final structure should be selected according to impact energy, lump size, installation support and current failure mode.

Key benefits
- Better suited for combined impact and abrasion than general CCO plate
- Recommended for loading points, crusher zones and hopper impact areas
- Can be supplied as heavy-duty liners with holes, countersunk holes or studs
- Useful when current liners crack, break or wear quickly under impact
Typical specifications
| Overlay type | Chromium carbide or custom alloy hardfacing layer |
| Base plate | Q235, Q345, A36 or equivalent weldable steel; special base plate available by project |
| Hardness | HRC 55-65 |
| Plate format | Standard sheet, cut-to-size liner or fabricated wear component |
| Processing | Cutting, bending, rolling, drilling, countersunk holes, stud welding and welding assembly |
Recommended applications
| Crusher impact zones For selected liners around crushing, discharge and transfer positions. | Loading points For falling material impact areas in conveyors and hoppers. |
| Bucket liners For loader, excavator and handling equipment liner protection. | Heavy hopper liners For coarse material storage and feeding with repeated impact. |
| Ore transfer points For lump ore, aggregate and hard material transfer systems. | Impact liner kits Fabricated liners supplied according to drawings and installation requirements. |

When to choose H-500
| Condition | H-500 suitability | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
| Ordinary sliding abrasion | More than needed | H-100 may be more cost-effective. |
| Severe abrasion with little impact | Possible | H-200 may provide better abrasion-focused value. |
| Powder or slurry flow | Not ideal | Consider H-300 Smooth Surface CCO Plate. |
| High temperature wear | Needs review | Consider H-400 or a custom high-temperature structure. |
| Impact plus abrasion | Good fit | Use H-500 after confirming impact level and support structure. |
