HALDEN Wear Plate Grade
H-300 Smooth Surface CCO Plate
Smooth surface chromium carbide overlay plate for powder, slurry and sticky material handling. H-300 is recommended where material buildup, flow resistance or surface roughness can cause blockage, unstable feeding or cleaning problems.
| Grade | H-300 Smooth Surface CCO Plate |
| Wear condition | Powder, slurry and sticky material conveying 粉料、浆料、易粘料输送 |
| Typical hardness | HRC 55-63 |
| Common thickness | 6+4, 8+6, 10+8 and customized |
| Main applications | Cement powder, mineral powder, coal powder, bins, pipe lining |
Smooth wear surface for better material flow
HALDEN H-300 Smooth Surface CCO Plate is designed for applications that need both wear resistance and smoother material flow. Compared with conventional rough-surface overlay plate, the smoother surface helps reduce material buildup in powder, slurry and fine-particle handling systems.
This grade is often selected for cement powder conveying, coal powder pipes, mineral powder chutes, silos, bins and other positions where low friction and smoother flow matter as much as abrasion resistance.

Key benefits
- Smoother surface helps reduce material buildup
- Suitable for powder, fine particles, slurry and sticky materials
- Useful for bins, chutes, silos and pipe lining applications
- Good option when rough overlay beads affect material flow
Typical specifications
| Overlay type | Chromium carbide or custom alloy hardfacing layer |
| Base plate | Q235, Q345, A36 or equivalent weldable steel; special base plate available by project |
| Hardness | HRC 55-63 |
| Plate format | Standard sheet, cut-to-size liner or fabricated wear component |
| Processing | Cutting, bending, rolling, drilling, countersunk holes, stud welding and welding assembly |
Recommended applications
| Cement powder handling For powder chutes, bins, silos and transfer points in cement plants. | Coal powder pipes For power plant and cement plant pipe lining positions. |
| Mineral powder systems For fine mineral powder conveying and storage equipment. | Silo and bin liners For reducing buildup and improving discharge stability. |
| Slurry handling For selected slurry transfer positions with abrasive fine particles. | Flow-sensitive liners For equipment where rough wear surfaces create blockage risk. |

When to choose H-300
| Condition | H-300 suitability | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
| Ordinary abrasive material flow | Good fit if smooth flow is needed | Use H-100 if surface smoothness is not important. |
| Severe coarse ore abrasion | May be limited | Consider H-200 Severe Abrasion Plate. |
| Fine powder or sticky material | Good fit | Use H-300 for smoother flow and lower buildup risk. |
| High temperature wear area | Not the first choice | Consider H-400 High Temperature Plate. |
| Heavy impact at crusher zones | Not recommended | Consider H-500 Impact Resistant Plate. |
