HALDEN Wear Plate Grade
H-100 General CCO Plate
General chromium carbide overlay plate for ordinary abrasive wear conditions with low to medium impact. H-100 is the practical starting grade for chutes, hoppers, conveyor liners and cement plant wear areas where standard steel plate or AR plate does not deliver enough service life.
| Grade | H-100 General CCO Plate |
| Wear condition | Ordinary abrasion, low to medium impact |
| Typical hardness | HRC 58-65 |
| Common thickness | 6+4, 8+6, 10+8, 10+10 and customized |
| Main applications | Chutes, hoppers, conveyor liners, cement equipment |
Reliable general-grade wear plate for common abrasive flow
HALDEN H-100 General CCO Plate is made by depositing a chromium carbide hardfacing layer on a weldable steel base plate. The overlay layer provides abrasion resistance, while the base plate supports cutting, bending, welding and installation into industrial equipment.
This grade is suitable for bulk material handling positions where sliding abrasion is the main wear mode and impact is not severe. It is commonly used as replacement liner material for cement, mining, aggregate, recycling, port and power plant equipment.

Key benefits
- Good balance between wear resistance, cost and fabrication flexibility
- Suitable for flat liners and simple fabricated wear parts
- Can be cut, drilled, welded, bent or supplied with studs
- Available as full plates or ready-to-install liner kits
Typical specifications
| Overlay type | Chromium carbide hardfacing layer |
| Base plate | Q235, Q345, A36 or equivalent weldable steel |
| Hardness | Typically HRC 58-65 on overlay surface |
| Plate format | Standard sheet or cut-to-size liner |
| Processing | Cutting, bending, rolling, drilling, stud welding, welding assembly |
Recommended applications
Use H-100 where abrasion is predictable and the installation position does not receive heavy direct impact.
| Chute liners For sliding material transfer points in cement, mining, aggregate and port systems. | Hopper liners For storage and feeding equipment handling clinker, ore, coal, slag or aggregate. |
| Conveyor liners For conveyor skirt boards, transfer stations and material handling wear zones. | Cement equipment For raw material, clinker, limestone and coal handling areas with abrasive flow. |
| General liner kits Cut, drilled and marked liners supplied according to installation drawings. | Wear repair projects Useful when customers need a fast upgrade from mild steel or short-life plates. |

When to choose H-100
| Condition | H-100 suitability | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
| Ordinary abrasive material flow | Good fit | Use H-100 as the standard CCO liner grade. |
| Severe ore abrasion with low impact | May be limited | Consider H-200 Severe Abrasion Plate. |
| Fine powder, slurry or sticky material | Possible, but not ideal | Consider H-300 Smooth Surface CCO Plate. |
| High temperature wear area | Not the first choice | Consider H-400 High Temperature Plate. |
| Heavy impact at loading or crusher zones | Not recommended | Consider H-500 Impact Resistant Plate. |
