HALDEN offers wear parts and full fabrications from wear resistant steels, and hardfaced wear plates. Our target customers are those who have demanding wear-driven applications that previous grinder models could not handle, and in need of reduced downtime to lower maintenance/replacement costs.

AR PLATE WEAR PARTS (Hardox®, XAR® and such)

We produce wear parts in standard wear sheet steels, such as Hardox and XAR and also have our own abrasion-resistant grades. Nearly all of these materials are very quote-related and require milling and machining from specialists who have experience with “hard” steel—HALDEN is no stranger to cutting, shaping, and machines hard steels to consistent dimensional accuracy / fit-up.

Typical parts include:

  • Liners, cheek plates and wear strips
  • Chutes, bins and transfer points-Packets, blades, side walls and impact areas
  • Cast with chamfer, guides and inserts ready to wear

OVERLAY-PLATE Bimetallic (Hardfacing,Overlay,Cladding) Function Fabrication the cladded hardfacing overlay is a sort of bimetal plate which fabricated by advanced fabrication process with weld deposit on the mild steel base.

We also provide fabrications in bimetallic hardfaced plate – a composite of base steel with harder wear overlay. This product is an excellent choice for applications that are out of scope for other AR plates as well as custom designed material design applications.

We custom design the wear package to your conditions including:

  • Hardfacing alloy application (for wear, impact, heat and corrosion resistance)
  • Choice of base metal (factorizing strength, weldability and structural requirements)
  • Coating thickness (matching predominately wear life targets to weight and cost ratio)
