Cullet Diverter Chute

HALDEN cullet diverter chute is designed for abrasive bulk material handling applications where interior wear protection and reliable directional flow control are critical. This pivoting chute diverter features chromium carbide wetted parts to protect the internal surfaces from extreme abrasion and wear.

The internal pivoting chute is positioned by a two-stage Vortex pneumatic cylinder controlled through solenoid valves and position indication switches. Controls are routed through a pre-wired terminal box, allowing the chute to be repositioned to different discharge ports according to process requirements.

The cullet diverter chute is built for environments where abrasive material flow causes rapid wear on conventional internal surfaces. By using chromium carbide wetted parts, the chute interior gains stronger protection against abrasion, helping improve equipment life and reduce maintenance frequency.

This makes it suitable for material handling systems where wear resistance and controlled discharge routing are both important.

Pivoting Internal Chute for Directional Discharge Control

The internal pivoting chute can be positioned to direct material toward different discharge ports. By energizing and de-energizing the solenoid valves, the chute can be moved into the selected discharge position according to the process requirement.

Risk of Trapped Larger Material

Larger material at the blade’s leading edge may become trapped between the blade edge and the interior housing. This can also negate the seal and may create breakage of the blade, blade shaft, or cause actuation problems.
